What the tool does

One Amazon keyword. Inside an open standard.

Amazon requires a fixed value in the XMP keyword field for photorealistic people generated entirely with AI. The field is standardized; the value is Amazon-specific.

Existing XMP keywords are preserved. The tool leaves DigitalSourceType untouched – it is not part of Amazon's stated requirement.

Quick answers

Questions about Amazon's metadata tag

Which images need the tag?

Photorealistic people generated entirely with AI. Images without people, non-photorealistic figures, and real people merely edited with AI are excluded under Amazon's guidance.

Is my image really not uploaded?

The file is read and modified through the browser File API – there is no upload endpoint and no HORAiZON storage. With your cookie consent we measure only events like check and download, never filenames or image bytes.

Does the tool change image quality or dimensions?

No. The XMP packet is added to the file container; the image pixels are not reprocessed. Dimensions and quality stay the same.

Does it also add trainedAlgorithmicMedia?

No. trainedAlgorithmicMedia is a separate IPTC provenance value and not part of Amazon's keyword requirement. The tool leaves it untouched.

Does this replace disclosures in Amazon Ads or KDP?

No. Amazon Ads, A+ uploads, and KDP may require their own disclosures. This tool only prepares the image file.

Amazon may change its requirements. The tool embeds the currently named keyword; deciding whether an image falls within the rule remains your call.
